During the week 14-19 October 2018, ILTER will hold its annual Coordinating Committee Meeting in Taichung, Taiwan; and the ILTER East Asia Pacific (EAP) regional network will conduct a scientific conference with the topic:

Resilience of Ecosystems in Natural and Human-dominated Landscapes

The event will be hosted by the Taiwan Agricultural Research Institute, Tunghai University, TERN (Taiwan Ecological Research Network).
Abstract submission is now closed.

Abstracts were invited for the following topics:

Theme 1: Resilience of socio-ecological systems

Theme 2: Drivers of long-term changes in biodiversity, ecosystem functioning and services

Theme 3: Nutrient cycling and critical zone research

Theme 4: Towards harmonization and standardization of observations

Theme 5: Long term response and feedback of Asian terrestrial ecosystems to climate change

Theme 6: Graduate speed talk

Furthermore, graduate student talks were invited with no theme predefined.

Sunday, 14 October: Workshop: Introduction to data management and applications in the long-term ecological sites
Monday 15 and Tuesday 16 : Joint Science Conference (open for anyone)
Wednesday 17: Field trip (open for anyone)
Thursday 18 and Friday 19: ILTER Coordinating Committee Meeting (upon invitation only)
